Based in Bangkok, Thailand, The Mekong Energy and Ecology Network (MEE Net) was established in 2008, as a sister organization of Towards Ecological Recovery and Regional Alliance (TERRA), under the legally registered Foundation for Ecological Recovery (FER). MEE Net has been working on energy related ecology issues in the Mekong Region, especially electricity structure, governance and policy reform towards sustainable energy and local community livelihood sustainability.
MEE Net is pleased to announce its 2nd capacity building workshop, Capacity Building and Networking for Sustainable Energy Development Across the Mekong Region, scheduled for May 17 - 27, 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand. Please circulate freely among your associates, listserves, and if possible on your websites. The application form is also attached to this email.
