Associate Program Manager
Give2Asia (G2A) is soliciting applications for the full time position of Associate Program Manager, based in Beijing.
Give2Asia works to facilitate and promote charitable giving to Asia by offering personalized services to donors and grantees. In China, Give2Asia supports programs focusing on education, health, economic development and poverty alleviation, environmental protection, disaster recovery and others areas. The Associate Program Manager will be responsible for managing, delivering and developing G2A programs and grants, providing program-related support to the China Program Director and Program Manager, as well as other assignments. The Associate Program Manager will report directly to the China Program Director.
Major Responsibilities
l Manage programs and grants, including conducting due diligence; reviewing and revising project descriptions, budgets, and reports; following up on Grant Agreements and grant funds transfers; and monitoring project implementation.
l Participate in project-related research and develop new programs as needed.
l Translate program related working documents.
l Provide support to China Program Director and Program Manager.
l Carry out office administration duties.
l Other activities as assigned.
Requirements
l At least 3 years of work experience; relevant experience in non-profit sector preferred.
l University degree in the fields of social sciences; Masters degree preferred.
l Written and verbal fluency in both English and Chinese required.
l Well-organized, self-motivated, good team-worker, and able to work independently.
l Demonstrated knowledge of social issues and development in China.
l Strong communication skills.
l Dedication to social development programs.
l Excellent computer skills.
